Simi Valley has a new 16-stall Tesla Supercharger at Harley's Valley Bowl on Cochran St. It opened October 26, 2026, with V4 stalls rated up to 500 kW and access for non-Tesla EVs through the Tesla app.

A 16-stall Tesla Supercharger opened at Harley's Valley Bowl, 5255 Cochran St in Simi Valley, CA, on October 26, 2026. The site uses Tesla's V4 hardware with a listed peak of 500 kW per stall, and it is open to non-Tesla EVs through the Tesla app.

It is the fourth Supercharger site in Simi Valley. Together, the four sites now offer 68 stalls in the city.

Who can charge here

16 stalls. One plug type: NACS, the connector SAE is standardizing as J3400.

Tesla drivers pull in and plug in. Billing runs through the account on file.

Other NACS-equipped EVs also plug in directly. Tesla's support page states that "vehicles that are NACS-equipped do not require an adapter."

CCS-equipped EVs need an adapter. This site has no dual-cable stalls listed, so a CCS car must use a NACS-to-CCS adapter supplied or approved by its automaker. Tesla prohibits third-party adapters at Superchargers for safety reasons.

To start a session in a non-Tesla EV:

  1. Download the Tesla app and create a Tesla Account.
  2. Choose "Charge Your EV" and add your vehicle and a payment method.
  3. At the stall, select the post number printed on the cable (for example, 4A).
  4. Plug in within the time the app gives you, then tap "Stop Charging" when done.

How fast it charges

500 kW is the listed peak for this site. That is the top of the DC fast charging range. The U.S. Department of Energy's Alternative Fuels Data Center says a DC charging unit "can provide up to 500 kW."

Your car sets the real speed, not the charger. Three things matter most:

  • Your car's maximum DC rate. The DOE notes that "many EVs on the roads today are not capable of charging at rates higher than 200 kW." A car limited to 150 kW will take about 150 kW here, at best.
  • State of charge. Power is highest at a low battery level and tapers as the pack fills.
  • Battery temperature. A cold pack charges slower. Preconditioning helps, and Tesla drivers can trigger it by setting the site as the destination.

For a rough planning number, the DOE lists DC fast charging at approximately 100 to 200+ miles of range per 30 minutes. Treat that as approximate. Your actual result depends on your car, the weather and how full the battery is when you arrive.

Getting there

The site is at Harley's Valley Bowl, 5255 Cochran Street, in Simi Valley. The ZIP code is 93063. The chargers sit in the bowling center's lot.

State Route 118 runs through Simi Valley, with interchanges at Stearns Street, Yosemite Avenue and Kuehner Drive. From the freeway, follow your navigation to 5255 Cochran Street.

Tesla drivers can find the site in the car's navigation. Non-Tesla drivers can find it in the Tesla app under "Charge Your EV," or on the ChargingNear.me station page.

What it costs

Tesla does not post one fixed price for all Superchargers. Here is how pricing works, per Tesla's own support pages:

  • Pay per use. Superchargers are pay-per-use. The live price for each site shows in the Tesla app and on a Tesla's touchscreen.
  • Time of day matters. Rates can change by time of day. Check the app before you plug in.
  • Non-Tesla rates differ. Non-Tesla drivers usually pay a different rate. A Supercharging Membership, billed monthly and cancelable any time in the app, lets other EVs pay Tesla vehicle rates at select sites.
  • Authorization hold. Tesla places a temporary $20 hold on a non-Tesla driver's payment method when charging through the app.
  • Congestion fees. Tesla says congestion fees can apply to all EVs charging through the app.

We do not list a per-kWh price here because it changes. Open the app at the stall for the current number.

Tips

  • Precondition first. Tesla drivers can set the site as the destination so the car warms the battery on the way. Other EVs may offer a manual preconditioning setting. A warm pack charges faster.
  • Arrive low, leave at 80%. Charging is fastest at a low state of charge. Power tapers as the pack fills, so stopping near 80% saves time.
  • CCS drivers: pack your adapter. This site has NACS cables only. Bring the adapter your automaker supplies or approves.
  • Check the price in the app. Rates vary by time of day. Look before you plug in.
  • Move once you're done. 16 stalls fill up at peak times. Unplug and free the spot for the next driver.
