Who can charge here
12 stalls. All NACS. Open to all EVs.
Any car with a NACS (J3400) charge port plugs in directly. That covers every Tesla and a growing number of other-brand models built with a native NACS port.
Cars with a CCS1 port can charge here as well, but they need an adapter. This site has no dual-cable (Magic Dock) stalls, so bring an automaker-approved NACS-to-CCS1 adapter. Start the session through the Tesla app. Open the app, choose "Charge Your Non-Tesla," pick the site and the stall number, and plug in.
Not sure your car is eligible or which adapter to buy? Our guide covers it: using a NACS adapter at a Tesla Supercharger.
One accessible stall and one trailer-friendly stall are on site. The accessible stall gives more room around the car and charger. The trailer-friendly stall lets you pull through without unhitching, which matters on a one-road island chain like the Keys.
How fast it charges
325 kW is the site's peak. Your car sets the real number.
DC fast charging is the fastest public charging class. The U.S. Department of Energy's Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC) says DC fast chargers add approximately 100 to 200+ miles of range per 30 minutes. It also notes that charging power varies by vehicle and battery state of charge.
For comparison, the AFDC puts Level 2 charging at approximately 25 miles of range per hour, and Level 1 at approximately 5 miles per hour. That makes this site the right stop when you need range fast, not overnight.
A few things shape your speed:
- Battery level. Charging is fastest at a low state of charge and slows as the battery fills, especially past about 80%.
- Your car's limit. A car that accepts 150 kW will not draw 325 kW.
- Battery temperature. Precondition on the way in. Teslas do this automatically when you set a Supercharger as the destination.
For the basics of Level 1, Level 2 and DC fast charging, read EV charging levels explained.
Getting there
The charger is at the Winn-Dixie on N Roosevelt Blvd. In Key West, U.S. 1 runs along Roosevelt Boulevard as a multi-lane road after it crosses onto the island. That makes this site an easy stop as you arrive from the mainland or as you leave town.
Search "Tesla Supercharger Key West Winn-Dixie" in your navigation app, or use the address above. In a Tesla, route to the site in the car's navigation to precondition the battery.
supercharge.info lists Winn-Dixie's store hours as 6 AM to midnight. Check the store directly before you plan to use its restrooms or shop late.
What it costs
Tesla shows the live price per kWh in the Tesla app and on the car's screen before you plug in. Prices can change by time of day. Non-Tesla drivers usually pay a different rate than Tesla owners, and some memberships lower it. Check the app for the current number at this site before you charge.
Idle fees may apply if you stay plugged in after charging finishes while the site is busy. Move your car when the session ends.

Tips
- Plan the Keys as one long leg. From Florida City to Key West, the only Superchargers on the route are Marathon, Big Pine Key and now Key West. Arrive in Florida City with a healthy charge and top up in Marathon if you need a buffer.
- Charge on arrival, not on departure day. Key West is the end of the road. Leaving with a full battery means you can skip a stop on the way north.
- Bring your adapter if you drive a CCS car. This site has NACS cables only. Without an approved adapter, you cannot charge here.
- Use the trailer-friendly stall only when towing. It is the only one on site. Leave it open for drivers who need it.
- Check the app before you go. The Tesla app shows live stall availability and price for this site.
